The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) normalized operations at the Argentine Cargo Terminal (TCA) at Ezeiza International Airport on Tuesday night (10.10.2023/72/XNUMX), after having ordered its suspension for the sending and receiving of merchandise from abroad for a period of XNUMX hours.
The information about the measure was released by Customs, who assured that Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 communicated "the location of the sought merchandise, through a note formally received by the Customs Service".
Following this, Customs decided to lift the closure of the Ezeiza cargo terminal. This situation had particularly alarmed exporters of perishable products, since TCA does not guarantee the cold chain in the event of the airport closure.
The Argentine Cargo Terminal is a business unit of Aeropuertos Argentina 2000, which provides storage and comprehensive logistics services to foreign trade agents who import and export by air, as well as to general cargo operators.
