Therefore, people travelling to Chile will have to complete customs and immigration procedures at the Los Libertadores Complex on the Chilean side, while those entering Argentina from the Andean country will have to do so at the Horcones Complex in Mendoza.
Likewise, it is reported that Chile requests, as of October 1, the following requirements:
- DNI + vaccination card or certificate.
- It will not be necessary to fill out form C19.
- The vaccination certificate or card will be equivalent to the Mobility Pass for non-resident foreign tourists.
- Health insurance will not be required.
- Random testing will continue, but only for Chilean citizens.
- Unvaccinated persons must present a negative PCR test no more than 48 hours after departure to Chile.
- The use of face masks will no longer be mandatory in public places.
