First flight from Neuquén to Chile was made

The governor of Neuquén, Omar Gutiérrez, participated in the international sector of the Presidente Perón airport in the capital of Neuquén in the departure ceremony of the first flight that directly links that city with Santiago de Chile.

"Today is a historic day, many possibilities and opportunities are opening up for us. To go and to come, 140 more destinations. Among them the United States, Australia, Europe, the Caribbean and South Africa," said the provincial leader.

Governor Omar Gutiérrez together with Latam authorities inaugurated this Wednesday (04.10.2017) the new sector of the airport that will function as a temporary immigration area until the complex's expansions are completed, which, for 275 million pesos, include the expansion of the boarding areas and the installation of the first telescopic sleeves.

Por el momento Flights to Chile will operate three times a week, on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Arrivals in Neuquén are in the morning and departure to Chile is in the afternoon, with a round trip cost starting at 190 dollars.
