The national government approved the Electronic Plant Health Transit Document, hereinafter DTV-e, which will be the only valid document to support the transit of products, by-products and derivatives of plant origin, whether national or imported.
This is how it is established Joint General Resolution 4297 published this Tuesday (28.8.2018) in the Official Gazette, as announced by the AFIP.
The adoption of this unique procedure for the transfer of plant products responds to the need for provide agility, speed and efficiency in the administration of private and public sector resources.
Furthermore, this procedure seeks to achieve the fiscal objectives persecuted, allowing the Identification of the different actors in the value chain as well as those linked to hygiene-sanitary and phytosanitary standards and, among others, the food quality control, identifying the origin of the plant products.
This rule will come into force one hundred and twenty days after (January 2019) counted from the date of publication.
