The national government has unified the control of the transfer of products of plant origin through the electronic Plant Transit Document (DTV-e) in order to simplify the procedures and speed up the task of the user through self-management.
Unified control
In a further step towards simplifying procedures, the Ministry of Agribusiness and Food of the Nation, the National Service of Health and Agri-Food Quality (Senasa) and the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP), unified the control of the transfer of products of plant origin through the electronic Plant Transit Document (DTV-e).
To this end, in an act headed by the Minister of Agroindustry, Luis Etchevehere, together with the heads of both public bodies, Ricardo Negri and Leandro Cuccioli, they signed this Monday (27.8.2018) a Joint resolution launching DTV-e, which unifies the Senasa Plant Transit Document (DTV) that has been in operation since 2016, with the AFIP's RG 1415 Remittance.
In this way a Only one document, generated in a single procedure and through self-management, it will allow compliance with fiscal control of what is transported for commercial purposes and with the protection of the phytosanitary status of plant production.
Advantages
Transparency. The Minister of Agroindustry, Luis Miguel Etchevehere, highlighted that “through this measure we are moving towards greater transparency in the agroindustry while simplifying procedures for producers. This unification allows for greater fiscal control that generates an increase in health, labor and tax formalities.”
Traceability. In turn, Cuccioli emphasized that “this measure seeks to establish a new inspection scheme based on traceability, that is, linking each link in the chain so that the consumer can know. The more traceability we have of a process, the easier compliance is.”
Reliability. For his part, the head of Senasa, Ricardo Negri, said "it is key to understand that behind a ticket there is a clean chain and a more reliable food. That is why fiscal control and health go hand in hand."
Scope
The measure affects the transit of all products, by-products and derivatives of plant origin, national and imported, from the place of origin until its arrival at wholesale markets.
Impact on Meats
In this regard, it is worth highlighting the good results achieved in the beef and pork chain by monitoring animals through the electronic transit document (DT-e) of Senasa regarding their transfer from the field to the slaughterhouse.
In this sense, for the VAT payment on account, in beef and pork, compliance was close to 99%. In addition, declared sales increased by 104% in the first case and 30% in the second.
