As on other occasions, the ceremony will take place in the Grand Kremlin Palace, in the St. Alexander Hall.
Argentine ambassador Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio was one of twenty diplomats who presented their credentials to the Russian president on Tuesday (03.10.2017).
The ceremony, which took place in the St. Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace, was also attended by the new ambassadors of the Dominican Republic (José Manuel Castillo Betances), Spain (Ignacio Ybáñez Rubio), the United States (Jon Huntsman), Mexico (Norma Pensado Moreno), Portugal (Paulo Vizeu Pinheiro) and the European Union (Markus Ederer).

With the decree 277 / 2017 Ricardo Lagorio was appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Argentina to Russia.
Lagorio has an extensive academic and diplomatic resume. A political scientist and doctoral candidate in Political Sciences and a graduate of the Foreign Service of the Nation, he was assigned to the Permanent Mission of the Argentine Republic to the United Nations (UN) and to the embassy to the UN. He was also Undersecretary of Policy and Strategy of the Ministry of Defense.
Lagorio is also the Argentine representative to the Governing Council of the Community of Democracies and national coordinator of the Argentina-Chile 2030 Strategic Reflection Forum. He is also a member of the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI) and the American Political Science Association and is a professor at the Catholic University of Argentina and the University of Buenos Aires.
