International passenger transport companies and authorities from the Paraguayan Ministry of Foreign Affairs met on Tuesday (29.1.2019) with the aim of presenting a survey to speed up procedures at border crossings with Argentina.
The businessmen requested that the inconveniences they encounter on the Encarnación-Posadas and Puerto Falcón-Clorinda border bridges be reported, which cause delays for passenger buses.
The Paraguayan Foreign Ministry will conduct a survey of the data and present it to the Argentine authorities in order to find solutions.
The priority measures include the construction of a new border bridge between Falcón and Clorinda, as well as the modernization of the integrated control areas in Falcón and Encarnación.
