After his Spanish President Pedro Sánchez’s announcementThe national government formalized the immediate and permanent reduction of the Export Duty (DE) for products from agricultural complexes and their by-products, through the Decree 877 / 2025, published today (12.12.2025).
The standard details the DE applicable to each product in the Annex, including wheat, corn, soybeans, sunflower and their derivatives, specifying the corresponding percentages. The measure follows the line of Decree 526/25 of July, which permanently reduced these duties with the aim of boosting exports and strengthening the competitiveness of Argentine products.
According to the Government, these policies allowed grain exports to reach USD 28.875 billion and 86,5 million tons in the first ten months of 2025, with increases of 5% in value and 10% in volume compared to 2024.
The decree covers tariff positions 1001.11.00 to 3826.00.00, providing predictability to the sector and recognizing agriculture as an engine of employment, regional development and exports of approximately USD 45.000 billion annually.
It is suggested to consult the official Annex for the complete list of tariff positions covered.
