China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO) will begin operations from Monday (24.9.2018), one of the world's leading shipping companies, from the Rosario Port Terminal, in order to directly link the cities of Montevideo and Rosario, via a Feeder vessel.
Expand warehouse capacity
This new logistics alternative, It is intended to expand the warehouse capacity offered by the Rosario multipurpose terminal, in a flow of loading and unloading operations that will be carried out weekly.
After a dinner of camaraderie organized by Cristian García of @Port Agency, local agent of COSCO Argentina, the authorities of the shipping company indicated that they arrive at Puerto Rosario, with the expectation of having a strong growth in the coming years.
Among the local authorities and representatives of ENAPRO and Puerto Rosario who attended the meeting, the following stood out: the Secretary of Transport of the Province, Pablo Jukic, the General Manager of the Port Authority, Nolasco Salazar, the Director of TPR SA, Gustavo Nardelli and its General Manager, Diego Fernández Querejazu, as well as Wan Tiegen, President of COSCO Shipping Argentina.
The arrival of COSCO will allow opening a direct destination which until now Puerto Rosario did not have.
