Senasa certifies 250 kg of yerba mate to the USA through Exporta Simple

The National Service for Food Safety and Quality (Senasa) certified the shipment of 250 kg of yerba mate to the United States within the framework of its participation in the "Export Simple".

According to the statement, the digital platform aims to promote the agile and dynamic export of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through postal service providers, and to facilitate integration with localities in Mercosur countries.

In such a way, the Senasa established a service point in its office located in the cargo terminal of the “Ministro Pistarini” International Airport from the Buenos Aires town of Ezeiza. Requirements

Those who wish to use Exporta Simple must have a Unique Tax Identification Code (CUIT) and a tax code with a security level of at least 3.

The annual billing amount for this type of exports may not exceed the FOB value equivalent to six hundred thousand dollars per subject and each individual operation may not exceed the FOB value of 15 thousand dollars.

Goods subject to shipment by this system must be produced in the country, not subject to prohibition, suspension or export quota, and their unit weight is up to 300 kg gross.

Whereas goods subject to a specific operational treatment regulated for customs control will not be able to carry out the action through Exporta Simple.

 

Those responsible for recording export operations - in accordance with the requirements specified in the regulations - are the Postal Service Providers, who must be registered as "CUSE Providers" and record their declarations through the Malvinas Computer System (SIM).
