“TRS is an international methodology that is part of the Trade Facilitation Agreement and allows, in an organized way, to measure times in import or export processes as a way to stimulate debate and identify the main bottlenecks in the flow of goods upon arrival or departure from the country,” the Brazilian agency said in a statement.

Although the event is aimed at representatives with the greatest impact on the export process, the source invited them to participate in an online survey on the topic of export (link).

“The Export Time Study is currently gaining relevance due to its ability to generate positive externalities throughout the export process, especially to identify bottlenecks in the procedure that, once resolved, will result in benefits and lower costs for society as a whole,” the note explained.
