The inauguration of the ordinary period, between March 1 and November 30 of each year, is a custom since 1862 that consists of the meeting of the Legislative Assembly in the Chamber of Deputies to listen to the message of the President of the Nation, where he takes stock of his administration and announces his legislative agenda for the coming year, as established by the National Constitution in its articles 63 and 99.
