As of March 26, the Single Registry of the Productive Matrix is eliminated

-

As of March 26, 2024, the National Government will repeal the Single Registry of the Productive Matrix (RUMP), a mandatory procedure for companies, individuals or institutions that required services, programs or procedures from the Secretariat of Industry and Productive Development, dependent on the Ministry of Economy.

This is established by the Resolution 114 / 2024, published today (25.03.2024/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, the text of which indicates that the measure is aimed at simplify administrative procedures and reduce the bureaucratic burden for citizens and businesses.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the RUMP, “instead of facilitating the access of citizens and companies to state agencies, represented an additional obstacle to the exercise of their rights and the safeguarding of constitutional guarantees of economic freedom.”

With the decision The requirement for prior registration in the RUMP as a requirement to access certain benefits is eliminated. Thus, the organisational units dependent on the Ministry of Economy will now be able to request the necessary documentation directly from the interested parties, without having to go through this registry.

It should be noted that this decision is part of the policy of simplification of regulations and administrative processes promoted by the new Government, in line with the Good Practices in terms of simplification applicable to the operation of the National Public Sector.
