To generate more efficient management when entering Chile, the National Customs Service together with the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) launched the Digital Joint Affidavit at the border controls of the Andrés Sabella Airport, in Antofagasta (north); Jeinemeni River, in Coyhaique (south); Dorotea (south) and Don Guillermo River, in Magallanes (south).
This declaration is a requirement that all travelers must comply with every time they enter Chile from any foreign country, which can be completed online at www.ingresoachile.cl.
According to official information, the document is requested at border controls for review of the Products carried by passengers, and which are regulated by Customs and SAG. Namely, SAG It inspects material of animal or plant origin that may contain pests and diseases not present in Chile; Customs, controls goods and currencies subject to the payment of taxes, and everything that exceeds the products contemplated in the traveler's franchise, such as, for example, 2,5 liters of alcoholic beverages, more than 2 cartons of cigarettes, more than 1 personal computer, among others, which are available to review in detail on the page www.aduanas.cl.

The joint digital affidavit is now enabled at the following border controls:
- Cardinal Samoré in the Los Lagos Region (south)
- Pehuenche, in the Maule Region (center)
- Diego Aracena International Airport, in the Tarapacá Region (north)
- Hua Hum Pass in the Los Ríos Region (south)
- Austral Integration and San Sebastián, in the Magallanes Region and the Chilean Antarctic (south).
