The national government has decided to suspend the export of ferrous and non-ferrous metal waste for consumption for 360 successive days.
This is established by the Decree 970 / 2018 announced this Wednesday (31.10.2018) in the Official Gazette.
The measure is due to structural reasons: our country lacks a fluid supply of iron and steel scrap., which is why the industries processing these goods see the supply of said input affected for their normal development, the regulations state.
In this context, Non-ferrous metal waste is an essential raw material for the development of the metallurgical industry.
