South Korea has accepted the health certificate model proposed by Argentina for exporting butter, powdered milk, milk (only cow's milk), whey, cheese and cream, the Argentine Ministry of Agriculture reported on Wednesday (30.09.2020).
Starting next October 15, Argentina will be able to restart the export of dairy products for human consumption to South Korea, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation said in a statement.
The decision was officially communicated by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Asian country to the National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (Senasa).
Shipments to that destination stopped in 2016, because the health authorities of the Asian country implemented the Special Law for the Control of the Safety of Imported Foods and new conditions for the health certificate had to be negotiated. which accompanies dairy products exported to that market, the agricultural portfolio recalled.
