The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) has announced the issuance of the Classification Criteria Nos. 91/24 to 105/24 in the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM), through the General Resolution 5542/2024.
These procedures, published this Monday (12.08.2024/1.618/2003) in the Official Gazette, were carried out in line with the Tariff Classification Consultation procedure established in General Resolution No. XNUMX of XNUMX.
According to the recitals, the technical opinion responds to 15 merchandise queries, presented in electronic files with the sponsorship, at the option of the interested party, of a customs broker or a legal professional.
Thus, AFIP communicated the Classification Criteria of the cited files, after the intervention of the competent technical areas.
The Federal Administration also gave way to the respective dissemination through the Bulletin of the General Directorate of Customs, as well as for the communication to the competent authorities of the National administrations of the States Parties to the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) and its corresponding Classification Criterion.
This General Resolution is effective immediately.
