Every December 19th, the National Service for Food Health and Quality (Senasa) Workers' Day is celebrated.
The date was formalized by Resolution No. 827/2006, taking into account the Decree No. 1.585 of December 19, 1996, which establishes the organizational structure of Senasa as a decentralized body.
