Ports of Argentina meet for the third time in Buenos Aires

The ports of Argentina meet for the third time in Buenos Aires. This is a new edition of the Multisectoral Meeting of the Argentine Port Council which will be held on October 23rd of this year in the modern auditorium of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, located in the Palermo Technological Pole in the city of Buenos Aires. 

This event, which once a year channels the thoughts and actions of the country's public ports, has become a great opportunity to address from all angles the key issues for the port industry and the local and global logistics chain.

Background 

Its first edition of 2016, the meeting addressed the problems of national cabotage, the functioning of Customs and port costs; 2017 Work was done on the environment, the relationships between cities and ports, as well as the impact of changes in international trade. 

News 

On this occasion the central theme will be the building the port community, reflecting the need to combine the efforts of all members of the ecosystem to promote quality and efficiency and advance other issues such as sustainability, city/port integration, the need for ongoing training, the incorporation of new technologies and the exercise of corporate social responsibility. 

The meeting that will have a dynamic and integrative format, with analysis from renowned specialists interacting, aims at these objectives that include the specific initiatives and actions of the Argentine Port Council on the current situation and the future of the country's port system.
