The full involvement of Brazil in the project to build the bioceanic train will be the main topic of the meeting between Bolivian President Evo Morales and his Brazilian counterpart Michel Temer on Monday (30.10.2017) in Brasilia.
The Bolivian Government has so far signed memorandums of understanding with Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay to promote the bioceanic train, which aims to link the ports of Ilo, in southern Peru, and Santos, east of Brazilian territory.
As part of Morales' visit, a meeting is planned in Brasilia with governors of the states of Mato Grosso and Matto Grosso do Sul and businessmen to address business issues.
Bolivia is interested in signing purchase-sale agreements for the urea produced by the Bulo Bulo Plant, in the department of Cochabamba, and planning export of electricity from 2019 to Brazil.
On October 30, Morales and Temer will meet privately and then with part of their cabinet of ministers to sign agreements.
