The National Government extended until December 26, 2024 the deadline for the payment of the Tax for an Inclusive and Solidary Argentina, corresponding to the operations carried out between December 8 and 15, 2024, both dates inclusive.
This is established by the General Resolution 5615/2024, published this Monday (16.12.2024) in the Official Gazette. The measure extends the original expiration date, which was December 18, 2024, with the aim of facilitating compliance with tax obligations by taxpayers and responsible parties.
It is also recalled that, pursuant to General Resolution 5604/2024, the Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) had ordered the cancellation of the 95% advance payment for import clearances made since November 25.
About the COUNTRY TAX
This extension takes place within the framework of the end of the PAÍS Tax, created by Law 27.541, which will end on December 23. This tax taxes various operations in foreign currency, such as the import of luxury goods, certain business services, digital services, the purchase of banknotes and foreign currency, as well as the acquisition abroad of freight or other transportation services linked to import or export operations of goods. It was established as an emergency rate at the national level to be applied during five fiscal periods.
