The Republic of Peru assumed this Monday (29.08.2022) the Pro Tempore Presidency of the Andean Community for the period 2022-2023.
The event took place during the XXII Presidential Council with the titular representatives to the Andean Community Commission, at the headquarters of the CAN General Secretariat in the city of Lima.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the member countries of the Andean Community participated: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

The CAN is a community of countries that voluntarily joined together with the aim of achieving comprehensive, more balanced and autonomous development, through Andean, South American and Latin American integration.
The countries that comprise it are Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, united by the same past, a varied geography, a great cultural and natural diversity, as well as by common objectives and goals.
