New provisions for bonded warehouses and optimization of the "Simple Export" regime

The Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) has made changes to the Simplified Export Regime, known as "Simple Export," to improve the process for smaller-volume exports and offer more logistical alternatives to operators.

These modifications were established by the General Resolution 5664/2025, published today (14.03.2025), and have immediate effectThe new regulations allow the Bonded warehouses with non-intrusive control systems can operate under this regime, in accordance with the provisions of General Resolution No. 4.352/2018. In addition, it is clarified that the “Logistics Operators of the Simple Export Regime, that is, those responsible for removing, classifying, transporting and delivering the merchandise to the chosen destination, They will be able to use all available export routes: air, land and sea.

The scheme, in operation since 2019, allows small and medium-sized enterprises aaccess international markets quickly through authorized logistics operators, such as the Official Post Office of the Argentine Republic (CORASA SA) and Aerolíneas Argentinas SA. These operators are responsible for managing export destinations on behalf of the regime's users.

The regulation establishes that, until now, the bonded warehouse assigned for the "Simple Export" operation was the Terminales de Cargas Argentinas (TCA) at Ezeiza International Airport.

With these modifications, the "Simple Export" regime is strengthened as a tool to boost foreign trade, simplifying procedures and expanding logistics options for Argentine exporters.
