Guillermo Michel announced this Thursday (14.12.2023) that he is resigning from the position of Director General of Customs (DGA), by virtue of the appointment of Florencia Misrahi at the head of the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP).
«The resignation was submitted on the date of the meeting since Michel was in charge of the AFIP on an interim basis., within the framework of the institutional responsibility of keeping the organization in operation," explained the Argentine Customs in a press release.
The entity added that Michel "will remain in charge of Customs until his replacement is appointed."
"Once his resignation has been accepted, Michel will not continue in the organization since he resigned from the permanent position in July 2019," he concluded.
