For three days, the Internet will be filled with offers, discounts and benefits to encourage the online purchase of products and services. The Hot Sale begins this Monday 14th and lasts until Wednesday 16th May. Here are some tips to enjoy the discounts and buy safely.
Before you buy
1. Search for offers only through the event's official website: www.hotsale.com.ar. When you choose products or services, you will be redirected to the websites of the various participating companies.
2. Make sure that the site where you are going to buy is safe (addresses must begin with “https://” and not with “http://”).
3. Before buying, look for the seller's details and read the terms and conditions of the sale.
4. Check the available limit of your credit card in advance
5. Please note that the seller is obliged to respect the published price.
6. If the services published are provided from or to abroad, their prices may be displayed in dollars.
7. Remember that the offer or promotion must be clear and detailed. If they offer you a discount, they must clarify the previous price. If the promotion includes a “2 for 1”, it must clearly state the price per unit.
8. Check the exchange policies of each company to know all the options in case you are not satisfied with the product.
9. If the offer is for limited quantities, you must be informed how many units are available.
10. If you are offered financing, make sure the total financial cost (TFC) is clarified.
11. Check that the company sends you the proof of payment or the electronic invoice. You can use it to file a claim later.
Shipping
1. Check the shipping costs before buying. Also, if the seller sets a delivery deadline, they must meet it.
2. Analyze the available shipping options and delivery times before finalizing the purchase because, depending on the product chosen and the delivery area, the times may change. They must be clearly informed.
Warranty
By law, all new products have a minimum 6-month warranty. If the product fails and needs to be returned, the costs are borne by the seller.
Right of withdrawal
Once you receive the product, you have 10 days to cancel the transaction without reason or cost. In addition, the return costs are the responsibility of the seller. Please note that this benefit applies only to online purchases.
