The national government updated the list of exporters authorized to export tobacco to the United States, through the Resolution 196/2020.
The regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries reported that the annual quota of 10.750 tonnes tobacco for export to the United States, between 7 companies.
Companies authorized for the business cycle included between September 13, 2020 and September 12, 2020
- Agroindustrial Cooperative of Misiones Ltda
- Jujuy Tobacco Growers Cooperative Ltd.
- Bonpland Leaf SA
- Alliance One Tobacco Argentina SA
- Salta Tobacco Producers Coop. Ltd.
- San Vicente Tobacco Cooperative Ltd.
- Industrial Commercial Missionary Argentina SA
The resolution also clarified that those interested in participating in the distribution of the tariff quota must register in the Registry of Tobacco Exporters from August 1 to 31 of each year.
