The Government of Argentina presented its National Plan for the Promotion of Exports and Investments 29.02.2024 to business chambers and private entities on Thursday (2024).
"The importance of coordinated work between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the provinces to identify the exportable supply and all those obstacles that could hinder the development of the export potential of our companies, regardless of their size", said Foreign Minister Diana Mondino when announcing the plan.
At the Ministry's headquarters, Minister Mondino was accompanied by the Secretary of International Economic Relations, Héctor Marcelo Cima, and the Undersecretary of Promotion of Exports, Investments, Education, Science and Culture, Ramiro Velloso.
In addition, representatives from more than 200 entities, business chambers and foreign trade and investment agencies were present, working together with the aforementioned Undersecretariat for the validation of different actions and programs that promote the exports of Argentine companies to the world, as well as their internationalization and global positioning in priority markets. Among others, the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC), the Chamber of Exporters of the Argentine Republic (CERA), the Chamber of the Oil Industry of the Argentine Republic (CIARA), the Chamber of the Argentine Software Industry (CESSI), the Argentine Rural Society (SRA), the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), the Cooperative Confederation of the Argentine Republic (COOPERAR) and the Argentine Chamber of Construction (CAMARCO) were present.
The 2024 Plan presented includes actions that accompany the Country Brand strategy in conjunction with other public entities.
It is worth highlighting that more than 2400 promotion, dissemination, assistance and training actions will be carried out related to the constant improvement, expansion and diversification of Argentine exports.
