With a visit to the border post of Canoas Pass and the Port of Balboa (Panama) The tour of the Central American Economic Integration Secretariat (SIECA) team throughout the Pacific Corridor was completed. The main objective of the tour was to detect, in a practical way, the realities faced by all the actors involved in the land commercial activity of Central America.
In Panama, the Deputy Director of Logistics, Juan Pablo García, was in charge of receiving the Secretary General of SIECA, Francisco A. Lima Mena, and his team. To this end, a visit to the Port of Balboa was coordinated, where information of interest was provided that will help in decision-making.
This tour of Panama also included a visit to the Paso Canoas border post, where Felipe León provided important details of all the paperwork and processes that are being implemented in our country as a contribution to facilitating trade.
El Secretary of SIECA, Francisco Lima He said that this historical journey will allow them to make decisions on the projects that the organization is developing to guarantee improvements in infrastructure and processes for greater fluidity of trade.
