As of this Wednesday (01.02.2023), the San Antonio (Argentina)-Santo Antonio (Brazil) crossing will have a Brazilian tourist customs post. This achievement will speed up the entry of travelers from this point in the province of Misiones to the neighboring country.
The Argentine ambassador to Brazil, Daniel Scioli, announced the addition via his Twitter account.
Scioli also reported that for this facilitation measure, "Brazil modified the border crossing regulations to allow the transit of tourists."

This authorizes entry, exit or transit operations of travelers and vehicles from abroad or to the destination, as well as operations related to subsistence trade at the border.
This is a long-awaited request from locals, who believe that the influx of tourists will bring greater economic activity.
Aduana News is the first Argentine customs newspaper to launch its digital version. With 20 years of experience, its publications and initiatives aim to provide the most relevant knowledge on customs issues in order to contribute to safe trade in the region.
