WCO holds workshop on rules of origin

The World Customs Organization (WCO) will conduct a Workshop on Rules of Origin deNext February 8th to 10th, with the participation of distinguished speakers from Customs, intergovernmental organizations and the private sector.

According to the organizers, the event, which will take place immediately after the 41st Technical Committee on Rules of Origin (TCRO), aims to exchange views and share experiences on regional integration, digitalization of origin-related procedures, utilization of Free Trade Agreements, future developments and the roles of the global trade community and Customs in the field of origin.

Regional integration remains a driving force in the global supply chain, and “rules of origin remain a prominent feature of the current international trading system,” the WCO says.
