Senasa simplifies registration in its nursery registry

-

The National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (SENASA) has simplified the requirements for registration in its National Phytosanitary Registry of Operators of Propagation Material, Micropropagation and/or Plant Multiplication (Renfo).

Now, the operator is exempt from presenting the municipal authorization of its establishmentnto at the time of registration, indicates the provision 7/2018, published in the Official Gazette.

The modification is given within the framework of the regulatory simplification carried out by the National State to streamline and de-bureaucratize operations of procedures that the user must complete.

The Renfo has as Objective: control pests non-quarantine regulated (PNCR) and those with a high economic impact on production and/or the environment.

Keeping the registry up to date allows us to know the total universe of producers and handlers of plant propagation material, with the aim of defining phytosanitary actions to minimize the impact of the aforementioned pests.
