Customs authorities in the Latin American region signed a commitment on Tuesday (27.11.2018) to implement the Regional Mutual Recognition Agreement and strengthen foreign trade, reported the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service.
The General Directors of Customs of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Guatemala, Dominican Republic and Peru signed the “Sao Paulo Declaration” within the framework of the International Seminar “OAS Program in the Americas”.
The OAS-Integrated represents a framework in the integration of the Federal Revenue with other State bodies that interfere and control foreign trade operations.

The Federal Public Revenue Administration defines an AEO as "one who has complied with his tax, customs and social security obligations, as well as obligations related to the security of goods and the integrity of the logistics chain. To access this program and its benefits, each operator will have to comply with a series of requirements, procedures and obligations."
