Last Friday, the 28th, the second day of the 2017 CEPRO Talk Series took place at the Rosario Stock Exchange.
La Opening and coordination of the CEPRO Talk Series, was in charge of the Mr. Nolasco Salazar, Director of the Rosario Port Studies Center and General Manager of ENAPRO, who thanked those present at the meeting and announced the upcoming activities to be carried out.
During the day, he spoke Engineer Jorge Tesler in Rosario, current Director of the Sustainable Logistics Center and former Academic Director of the ITBA Logistics Management Specialization Postgraduate Program, who spoke about “Sustainable Port Logistics”, key to the competitiveness of the port sector.
"We must work on three fundamental axes: ecological balance, economic efficiency and social equity, focusing on the latter to sustain sustainability.", the engineer proclaimed. He also highlighted the importance of extending logistics work to the entire production chain and making transportation efficient by working on continuous improvement. The Director of the Sustainable Logistics Center also expressed his concern for promoting actions that generate public policies in favor of the environment.
In turn, this Cycle of Talks of the CEPRO had the presence of Engineer Jose Emilio Bernasconi, President of the Transportation Commission of the Rosario Stock Exchange, who spoke about: “Rosario, Regional and Mercosur Logistics Center".
During his presentation, the engineer highlighted the Need to work on road and railway access to change the Argentine transport matrix and delved into issues relating to the city's port and the region.
In this way and for the third consecutive year, CEPRO has consolidated its position as a fundamental axis in the training of human resources and tools to add value to port activity.
