Weaving networks, ties, strengths and business opportunities in sustainable development. The BAPA +40 conference is a commitment to South-South cooperation, to a global South that has economic power and has developed important capacities.
BAPA+40 is the second high-level global conference of the United Nations on South-South Cooperation and will be held in Buenos Aires from 20 to 22 March.
The theme of this meeting is “The role of South-South cooperation and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: challenges and opportunities”. It is an opportunity for multilateralism and for enhancing the global partnership for sustainable development. The South-South meeting is an opportunity for exchanges on issues of science, technology, innovation and knowledge sharing.
In this framework the South-South cooperation (IGD) and Unisa are organizing the conference:

The IGD is involved in research initiatives and South-South dialogue and triangular cooperation. In this interest it has produced books and papers based on case studies on the role of African interests in shaping the international development landscape.
