In Argentina, Council 2025 focuses on strategic investments and foreign trade.

In a context of economic challenges and strategic opportunities, Argentina is preparing to discuss its economic and commercial future. next Thursday, August 21st, el Alvear Palace Hotel in Buenos Aires will be the venue for the Council of the Americas 2025, a conference organized by AS/COA in association with the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC), where the economic, trade and investment prospects in Argentina and the region will be analyzed.

The AS/COA (Americas Society/Council of the Americas) is a U.S. organization dedicated to promoting political, economic, and cultural dialogue in the Americas, fostering spaces for discussion among leaders from the public and private sectors and multilateral organizations.

In this edition of Council 2025, with the Confirmation of the President of the Nation, Javier Milei, the participation of high-level officials, strategic business leaders, and representatives of multilateral organizations is expected, who will address key issues for foreign trade and investment in the region.

On the eve of the event, the President Javier Milei received a delegation from the United States headed by the admiral Alvin Holsey, commander of the U.S. Navy's Southern Command (SOUTHCOM). Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein and Defense Minister Luis Petri also participated, strengthening bilateral ties and prospects for cooperation in security and defense, factors that influence confidence in strategic investment and foreign trade.

With this agenda, the Council of the Americas 2025 reaffirms itself, once again, as an important forum for discussing Argentina's economic and political direction in a decisive year.
