In Provision 174/2025, published this Tuesday (12.08.2025) in the Official Gazette, the Customs Regulation and Control Agency (ARCA) resolved a series of personnel movements in two of the four General Subdirectorates of the General Directorate of Customs.
According to the official text, the functions assigned to the aLawyer Marcelo Fabián Mignone and engineer Marcelo Alejandro Sosa, who served as Deputy General Directors in the Technical Legal Customs Subdirectorate and in the Subdirectorate of Metropolitan Customs Operations, respectively, were terminated.
It should be noted that in Argentina, the General Directorate of Customs is organized into several Subdirectorates General that oversee various key areas, such as Metropolitan and Interior Customs Operations, as well as Customs Control and Legal Technical Support.
It is indicated that these modifications, made for service reasons and in accordance with the Electronic File cited in the provision, are part of an internal reorganization aimed at optimizing customs management.
The measure is effective from August 11, 2025, according to ARCA. So far, no official replacements have been announced.
