AFIP simplified the courier delivery system

-

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) has simplified the Postal Service Providers PSP Courier Import Regime, with fewer requirements for users and more facilities for small exporters.

This is established by the General Resolution No. 4450 published this Monday (1.4.2019) in the Official Gazette.

The regulations state that it will no longer be necessary for users to confirm their purchase., since now the obligation will be of the Postal Service Provider, who must inform it within 24 hours of delivery.

In addition, they will be able to use the system with tax code 2 (until now, tax code 3 was required)It should be noted that they must have an electronic tax address established with the AFIP, where they will receive an email with notification of delivery.

With the tax code you can enter the “International Postal Shipments” module and consult the shipping details.

On the other hand, the export and import amounts are equalized by this system at US$ 3.000, to promote the simplified sale of Argentine products abroad. In addition, the number of annual shipments remains at five.

The resolution, signed by the Tax Administrator, Leandro Cuccioli, is of immediate application.
