Chilean Customs coordinates opening of border crossing in the Arica and Parinacota Region

In the framework of the total opening of Chile's borders, scheduled to begin on December 1, The National Director of Customs, José Ignacio Palma, arrived in the capital of the Arica and Parinacota Region (north) to meet with local authorities and teams of Regional Customs officials.

José Ignacio Palma, accompanied by the Regional Ministerial Secretary (Seremi) of Finance, Pablo Arancibia, and the Director of the Regional Customs, Fernando Rousseau, held meetings with the Regional Presidential Delegate, Roberto Erpel, and the Regional Governor, Jorge Díaz.

Likewise, some doubts were clarified regarding the opening of the Chacalluta border crossing from December 1 and the way in which officials should carry out their control and inspection work.
