The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) relaunched the SME Customs Forum, a space that facilitates exchanges with the private sector to address the different problems and challenges presented by foreign trade. The objective of the forum, which was launched again, is to have a fluid and agile dialogue between the public and private sectors. The initiative promoted by the DGA has the active participation of the Subdirectorate General of Taxpayer Services.
During the meeting, representatives of SMEs made inquiries to the officials present regarding issues such as compliance with IRAM regulations, surety bonds for imports and tax refunds for exporters, among others.
“We want the SME Customs Forum to consolidate itself as a space for federal participation, collaboration and construction of joint strategies for the promotion and growth of small and medium-sized companies that operate in foreign trade”, highlighted the head of the DGA, Silvia Traverso, who was accompanied by Customs authorities.
The event was attended by various business chambers such as CGERA, CAME, the Protejer Foundation and the Chamber of Exporters of the Argentine Republic.
Aduana News is the first Argentine customs newspaper to launch its digital version. With 20 years of experience, its publications and initiatives aim to provide the most relevant knowledge on customs issues in order to contribute to safe trade in the region.
