Tax collection of February rose to 330.890 million of pesos, with an interannual growth of 40,4%, driven in particular by the performance in Earnings and VAT, In addition to the tax on debits and credits in current accounts and on export duties, the Federal Public Revenue Administration reported this Friday (1.3.2019) (AFIP).
The agency indicated that tax revenues reached $330.890,7 million last month, with a year-on-year increase of 40,4% in general terms, that is, below the inflation measured by Indec and that the last 12 months to January was 49,3%.
The increase in revenue was marked in particular by the 52,9% increase in the Income Tax and the 43,2% increase in the VAT tax bracket, while in February the highest values in the series were reached in the tax on debits and credits in current accounts and in export duties.
In net VAT, the increase was 33,6%, with a growth of 43,2% for the tax bracket and 8,9% for the customs bracket.
The result of customs VAT was affected by the decrease in VAT collections for imports of movable goods due to the regulatory change last October, although there was also an increase in refunds compared to the previous year.
