We are tremendously pleased and confident that we will reach the signing of a final document that will mean mutual recognition between the AEO programs of our Services.,” highlighted the National Director of Customs of Chile.

The initiative is aimed at the future signing of a Mutual Recognition Agreement, which will allow companies that have obtained AEO certification to operate in both countries under similar conditions and benefits.

About the OAS program

The OEA program is a tool developed within the framework of the international guidelines provided by the World Customs Organization (WCO). and which offers different operators in the supply chain the possibility of certifying that their processes are safe and that their controls and procedures are sufficient to guarantee compliance with customs regulations.

A company that achieves the OEA standard is able to deliver a more competitive service that brings benefits in terms of image, brand positioning or increased export volumes.
