The Ministry of Transport of the Nation, represented by the General Administration of Ports and its authorities, participated in Intermodal South America 2018, the most important fair in the field of logistics transport. It is the second consecutive year that the Port of Buenos Aires participates with its own stand.

During this international fair, meetings were held with the world's leading shipping companies, members of the national and international port community and port-logistics operators.

Among the topics discussed were the future of the global shipping industry and the projection for the region that includes Argentina; the different projects of national ports; the news on sustainable processes in port logistics and the measures adopted by Argentina to reduce port costs.

"We are working on the recovery of maritime and river cargo at our port. The results already show that we are on the right track. All of this is possible thanks to teamwork with the other ports in our country and the global port-logistics community. We are also preparing for a transcendental moment for the federal port of Argentina, which is the launch of the Port Plan for the next 50 years. " he expressed Gonzalo Mórtola – Buenos Aires Port Authority.

It is important to note that the Intermodal South America It is the main international event on Logistics, Freight Transport and Foreign Trade held in South America and this year it was held in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, between March 13 and 15, 2018.
