New head appointed to the General Subdirectorate of Customs Operations of the Interior

By Provision 209/2024, published in the Official Gazette this Friday (20.12.2024), the Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) designated the Lawyer Horacio Raul Alasia as the new Deputy Director General of the General Subdirectorate of Customs Operations of the Interior.

Alasia, who until now served as head of the General Subdirectorate of Internal Audit, will assume this new responsibility, replacing María Virginia Paredes, who left the position vacant following her recent retirement.

With this appointment, the top management of the General Directorate of Customs is made up of the following male officials:

  • Jose Andres Velis: Director General of Customs (Decree 954/2024).
  • Marcelo Fabian Mignone: Deputy Director General of Customs Legal Technician (Provision 292/2023).
  • Marcelo Alejandro Sosa: Deputy Director General of Metropolitan Customs Operations (Provision 176/2024).
  • Juan Manuel France: Deputy Director General of Customs Control (Provision 176/2024).
  • Horacio Raul Alasia: Deputy Director General of Customs Operations of the Interior (Provision 209/2024).
