The customs of Ecuador and China signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program, with the aim of strengthening bilateral trade, it was reported this Thursday (19.12.2024/XNUMX/XNUMX).
"The signing of this Agreement represents a key milestone on the path towards safer and more competitive trade for our country, by strengthening mutual trust between nations," he said at SENAE. The agreement offers the actors in the international logistics chain, authorized as AEO by both countries, the following benefits:
- Facilitation of customs processes.
- Reduction of time and costs in foreign trade.
- Greater security in the international logistics chain.
- A stable and predictable environment for the operations of exporting and importing companies.
SENAE's Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program, free and voluntary, certifies Foreign Trade Operators that comply with security standards in the logistics chain, promoting benefits and new opportunities. For this purpose, SENAE encourages more Ecuadorian companies to become certified, supporting the country's growth and economic reactivation under the management of the "New Ecuadorian Customs."
