The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) decided to extend the deadlines for taxpayers to access the moratorium and forgiveness of debts provided for in the Tax Relief Law, through the General Resolution 5181/2022

The regulations, published this Friday (01.04.2022) in the Official Gazette, provided the following benefits:

Moratorium: The deadline for membership has been extended until April 29. Please note that for plans submitted during the month of April, the first installment will be due in May;

Debt Forgiveness: From April 1 to April 18, applications may be submitted to access the forgiveness of debts due as of 31/8/2021;

Compliant taxpayers: You may access the benefits for compliant taxpayers or make a non-compliance statement until April 18. When the non-compliance statement is resolved after April 18, an additional period of 5 days or until April 29 (whichever occurs first) is established to make a new request.

Small taxpayers: Taxpayers and/or responsible parties who consider that they meet the requirements to be characterized as “small taxpayers” may prove their status until April 12, 2022, through the “Digital Presentations” service by selecting the procedure “Small Taxpayers – Characterization Law 27.653”.
