The Ministry of Production and Labor, through the Secretariat of Foreign Trade, registered two agreements between two Argentine firms and two companies under the registry of turnkey export contracts.
This is established by the measure that was published this Thursday (28.2.2019) in the Official Gazette, through the resolutions 11/2019 y 12/2019.
A turnkey export contract is considered to be industrial plants or engineering works intended for the provision of services, which are sold abroad in the form of a complete and concluded unit with the purpose of fulfilling the object of a contract that requires the transfer of ownership of the final good in exchange for payment of a total price.
Ecuador and Brazil
The agreement between the firm Espaqfe Ingeniería from Argentina and the firm Proteínas del Ecuador Ecuaprotein was registered in the Turnkey Export Contract Registry, through which the first committed to export to Ecuador a turnkey plant to produce hydrolyzed fish proteins, which is composed of an evaporator, spray dryer, gas scrubber, CIP center and peripheral equipment.
Meanwhile, the goods of national origin that are part of the contract, whose value amounts to US$ 2.714.946,69, will have the refunds provided for in each case.
They also registered the contract between the Argentine firm Secin and Cervejaria Reunidas Skol Caracu of Brazil, by which the first one committed to export to the country Latin American a turnkey plant, consisting of a brewhouse.
In this way, the assets included in this agreement, set at US$ 6.847.791,29, will have the refunds provided for in each case by Decree 1.011 dated May 29, 1991 or the regulation that modifies it.
In this regard, the assets of these contracts will be eligible for the additional reimbursement resulting from their value and the 10% rate. Likewise, the services comprising the national component, which amount to US$ 227.563,40, will be eligible for a 10% reimbursement.
