The Government has published the National Cybersecurity Strategy, which establishes the essential principles and central objectives of Argentina regarding its project for the protection of cyberspace.

This is established by the  829 / 2019 resolution, which was published this Tuesday (28.05.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette with the signature of the Secretary of Government Modernization, Andrés Ibarra.

In the grounds, the official text states that "The National State has established within its long-term plans a series of priority objectives and initiatives, among which is to provide our country with the capacity to prevent, detect and neutralize any malicious activity, contributing to a safe cyberspace for those who live in our country.«.

Therefore, a National Cybersecurity Strategy is required, which establishes the essential principles and central objectives of Argentina regarding its project for the protection of cyberspace.

According to the resolution, the National Cybersecurity Strategy is based on and inspired by five Guiding Principles: respect for individual rights and freedoms; leadership, capacity building and federal strengthening; international integration; cybersecurity culture and shared responsibility; and strengthening socioeconomic development.

«The National Strategy must be considered as a founding and at the same time living document, which will be updated as reality and technological change dictate, as well as being the starting point and trigger for all actions.", the official text states.
