The Government regulates the principles of distribution and allocation of the Hilton Quota for the next four cycles, through a decree 337 / 2019.
The regulation for the distribution of the quota of chilled boneless bovine cuts of superior quality that the European Union assigned to the country, with standards of clarity and certainty, for the next commercial cycles, was published in the Official Gazette this Tuesday (28.05.2019/XNUMX/XNUMX).
The decree states that "will apply for business cycles between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2023.”
It is clarified that "For the commercial cycle between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020, the export history of Hilton cuts from 2018 will be used as the criterion.«.
For the following periods (2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23), "The criteria of export history of Hilton and non-Hilton cuts will be used, to all destinations, corresponding to the three (3) immediate previous calendar years, with the weights established to reach a balance between both cuts at the end of the period.«.
The decree creates a "free availability fund" for the remainder that has been awarded but not exported.
The Free Availability Fund «It will be made up of the tons that are not assigned, the tons that the beneficiaries voluntarily renounce within the period determined by the competent authority and the tons that arise from the loss of the difference in tonnage not exported.«says the text.
The regulation signed by President Mauricio Macri, Chief of Staff Marcos Peña and Minister of Production and Labor Dante Sica will come into effect on May 29, 2019.
