Advisory Council meets to analyze current situation of the Rosario Port

The authorities of the National Port Authority of Rosario (ENAPRO) held a meeting with the members of the Advisory Council on Monday (2.7.2018) to analyze the current situation of Puerto Rosario and set a full agenda of activities.

Organization and announcement

At the meeting, the General Manager, Nolasco Salazar, pointed out the importance of Organize a monthly coordination of activities between all those who are part of the Rosario port community, aimed at the different operations carried out by the port terminals managed by ENAPRO in order to achieve greater competitiveness of the port.

 In addition, Nolasco announced the holding of the 6th International Puerto Rosario Conference, to be held on August 23 at the city's River Station. On this occasion, they recalled, the current situation of the ports of Argentina and the region will be discussed.

This is the new edition of the international meeting under the motto “Smart Ports” where experiences related to information technology (ICT), foreign trade logistics and port operations, which are increasingly important for the port business, will be discussed.

The president of the Entity, Angel Elias, in turn, mentioned the launch of the ENAPRO statistical yearbook and the activities of the Argentine Port Council (CPA), among which the work of the different commissions that produce reports for all the public ports in the country stands out. In turn, Elías announced the 3rd Multisectoral Meeting of the CPA that will take place on October 23 in Buenos Aires.

Different cameras The representatives of the terminals who took part in the meeting described the realities of their activities related to commercial operations. The heads of TPR SA and SEPOR SA provided an update on the progress of both terminals.

At the end of the meeting, Elías stressed the need to study the treatment of specific issues with a prior agenda at each meeting, highlighting the importance of joint planning to continue to strengthen the growth of the port.
