The national government, through the National Service for Food Safety and Quality (Senasa), received confirmation that Morocco has authorized the import of edible fat of bovine origin from Argentina.
"In these two and a half years we have managed to open more than 140 markets. Each new destination represents a new opportunity, expanding the universe of exports and promoting the insertion of Argentine products at a global level," said the Minister of Agroindustry, Luis Miguel Etchevehere.

Argentina ranks fifth as a food supplier to the African country. Both the total and agro-industrial balances show a surplus for Argentina in trade with Morocco.
In 2017, 2.074.970 tons of agro-industrial products were exported to that destination for a total amount of US$ 497,92 million. 98,51% of Argentine exports to this country are agro-industrial, highlighting products such as corn, soybean oil, soybean mealyes, wheat and frozen beef.
